Farmers feeling effect of climate change
http://www.ntv.co.ke The hot weather being experienced in parts of the country is now having an adverse effect on vegetable farmers including those engaged in green house farming. The resultant hardships faced have already pushed up the prices of vegetables by a substantial margin compared to December's prices. The hot rays of the sun are now forcing famers like Alice Chuaga from Nyeri to change the way they water their crops as they have to nourish the plants with water for longer hours.
