Bo Xilai and Wife Implicated in Murder of British Citizen
Follow us on TWITTER: http://twitter.com/cnforbiddennews Like us on FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/chinaforbiddennews The truth of the Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai incident remains murky to the public so far. Related scandals are being exposed continually. Recent reports accuse Bo Xilai and his wife of being part of several murder cases—one being the mysterious death of Bo Xilai's son, Bo Guagua's personal British nanny, which aroused official attention in the U.K. The U.K has formally requested the Chinese Communist Party(CCP) for an investigation into the case. On March 24, Chinese internet posts reported the death of Bo Guagua's British Nanny, Nick Heywood. Yang Haipeng, former journalist of Today's Finance, revealed the news about Haywood's death in Chongqing. Local authorities did not conduct further investigations and quickly cremated the body. Wang Lijun, former police chief of Chongqing, was reportedly handling the case. Later on, Southern Weekend reporter Chu Zhaoxin posted in his Weibo that Nick Heywood was murdered. Haywood's death was related to Gu Kailai, wife of former CCP Secretary of Chongqing Bo Xilai, according to Chu. Nick Heywood's case sparked international media attention. Mr. Haywood was found dead in his Chongqing hotel room in last October, the Wall Street Journal reported. A Chongqing official quickly said that Haywood died from "excessive alcohol consumption" and cremated the body. But Haywood's friends told the British Embassy that Haywood had been abstaining from drinking alcohol. The journal revealed that Wang Lijun had actually found Haywood poisoned to death, thus fell out with Bo. Wang also claimed that Bo's wife Gu Kailai had been having business disputes with Mr. Heywood. On March 25, the British Foreign Office spokesman said that the U.K. had asked China for an investigation into the case. Xinyu Zhang, founder of global free-information movement, says, because the UK government is democratically elected it will surely take responsibility in seeking an investigation into a British citizen's death. Zhang Xinyu: "It (U.K.) will certainly make a thorough investigation into the case, definitely. Once the U.K. has such determination, the CCP will have no choice but to investigate the case to the end. In the West, a case could be under investigation for over 10 years just to find out the truth." Zhao Yan, former New York Times researcher, says Heywood's case may bring further progress re Bo Xilai. Zhao Yan: "If the reports are found to be true that Bo Xilai plotted Haywood's murder, or Bo's son is found guilty for Haywood's death, that not only means an end to Bo's political life but also a criminal charge." Nick Heywood was a board member of Beijing Martin, a local dealer for Aston Martin based in U.K. Heywood's Chinese wife—who was from the city of Dalian— reportedly introduced Haywood to Bo Xilai. According to Heywood's friends, both families had close ties. Heywood had boasted about his referring business contacts to Bo Xilai. However, Bo and his wife were reportedly implicated in more murder cases other than the recent Haywood case. March 23: Hong Kong's Xinwei Monthly said Bo and his wife were involved in a plane crash in Dalian in May 2002. The disappearance of Zhang Weiji, a female Dalian TV anchor, and the death of Yuan Xianqian, daughter of former vice mayor of Dalian, were both traced to the Bo Xilai and his wife. Jiang Weiping, former Wen Wei Po journalist, raised his suspicions over Chongqing's sensational gunshot killing, which happened on March 19, 2009. Jiang says the case was probably a fake performance aimed at building momentum for Bo's anti-vice campaign and for Bo to win over the Chengdu Military Region— which may be why the case had not been solved until now. Rumors claim that Gu Kailai was under investigation while in custody, after Bo was sacked from office. Yang Haipeng's Weibo says, Gu Kailai's graft has been announced to officials above the sub-provincial ranking. Meanwhile, Bo Xilai's son Bo Guagua has not shown up for his course at Harvard University. Even Li Wang, another son of Bo Xilai, together with Bo's ex-wife, are reportedly missing now. 《神韵》2011世界巡演新亮点 http://www.ShenYunPerformingArts.org/
